DailyFace Privacy Policy

1. Product purpose

DailyFace helps users capture comparable face records, manage personal face and skin observation data, and prepare selected records for the user's own questions, comparisons, or creative AI image workflows. The app is a personal observation log and data preparation tool. It is not a medical device, dermatology service, treatment guide, product efficacy guarantee, or identity verification service.

2. Data handled by the app

Depending on the features you use, DailyFace may create or store the following data on your device:

Face photos, aligned images, thumbnails, and selected gallery imports.
MediaPipe 468-point face landmarks and face geometry summaries.
ROI metrics, comparison confidence, capture quality, capture context, and observation notes.
Baseline photos, left-face and right-face reference views, routines, products, and event records.
AI data-card files, export JSON files, and selected share files created by the user.
Face Twin Pack files for user-directed creative image generation, including selected reference photos, face structure summaries, preference layer, prompt pack, and optional landmarks when the user chooses to include them.
Local app settings, privacy choices, deletion records, and consent-related local records.

3. Local-first storage

The MVP stores records in the app's local device storage and embedded SQLite database. There is no backend account system, no default cloud sync, and no server-side face database in the current MVP. Original photos are treated as the user's primary record and are not automatically deleted by the app's 90-day comparison window policy.

4. Sharing and external AI tools

DailyFace does not send photos, landmarks, data cards, or Face Twin Packs to Gemini, GPT, image generation services, analytics providers, or any external AI API by default. When you explicitly choose to share or export, DailyFace prepares selected files and text for the operating system share sheet or file save flow. You decide the destination app, the question you ask, the comparison you request, or the image generation prompt you use.

DailyFace is not a data broker and does not sell your face or skin records. If you share data with another app or service, that third party's privacy policy and terms apply to their processing.

5. Data-card and Face Twin Pack safeguards

AI data-card JSON is designed to be readable by external AI tools while keeping the user in control. By default it should avoid API keys, tokens, device identifiers, raw EXIF or GPS data, and AI interpretation text generated outside the app's data preparation role. If you choose an expanded export, image URI, selected photos, and 468-point landmarks may be included so that the external AI tool can use your real reference data more precisely.

6. Camera, photos, and device permissions

Camera and photo library permissions are used to capture or import the records you choose. The app should request only the permissions needed for capture, import, export, and local file handling. Permission access does not mean DailyFace uploads your photos to a company server.

7. Retention and deletion

Your records remain on your device until you delete them in the app, remove app data, or uninstall the app according to your operating system behavior. The app includes data management controls for deleting records, generated export files, local database content, and related local settings.

8. Children

DailyFace is not intended for children. Do not use the app to capture, store, or share another person's face data without proper authority and consent.

9. Policy updates

If DailyFace later adds cloud backup, accounts, paid subscription services, analytics SDKs, crash reporting SDKs, or direct AI API calls, this policy and the app's consent surfaces must be updated before those features are enabled for users.
